2025 Gent-Wevelgem. 🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Castellaro Ypsilon Ross. Not the most cagey of affairs, but a strong showing by Mads Pedersen and the Lidl-Trek team. For a race that might be the first bottle before we go deep in the cellar for the Ronde, Trek are looking in prime position to sweep Holy Week.

2025 Milan-San Remo. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Trediberri Barolo Berri. The only start to spring that Tour de Wines recognizes is La Primavera. A slow-burner of a race that erupted into organized chaos in the finale. Hard to imagine a better way for MvdP to celebrate this win than with a stunning Barolo, rich with dark cherry notes and beautifully balanced tannins.

2025 Paris-Nice. 🍷🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Château de Bellet 'Bellet' Blanc. A stellar edition of Paris-Nice saw Jorgenson repeat with back-to-back wins on the Race to the Sun! For this year’s pairing, we almost went with an American varietal but ultimately settled on a Provençal white with hints of pear and apple.

2025 Tirreno–Adriatico. 🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Fontefico "La Canaglia" Pecorino Superiore. While we almost went with an Alella to celebrate Ayuso's overall GC victory, we felt that this race deserved a very approachable Italian white. Pecorino reminds us that spring grilling weather is just weeks away.

2025 Strade Bianche. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino.Hard to imagine a more perfect edition of Strade Bianche. The best way for Pog to recover from his road rash? A glass of Brunello, highlighting ripe cherry, violet, and a hint of spice.

2025 Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne. 🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Julien Courtois, 100%. 100% wine meets 100% sprinting. For when Jasper Philipsen needs a touch of Gamay after long, cold days out training in Mol. Hints of spice, mint, and animal notes.

2025 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. 🍷🍷🍷🍷/ 5🍷. Best paired with Nanclares y Prieto 'Dandelion' Albariño. What a win for the Pro Viking Team, UNO-X, and the Norwegian phenom, Søren Wærenskjold. With such an exciting start to Opening Weekend, give us seafood paella paired with this stunning Albariño.

2025 Tour Down Under. 🍷🍷/ 5🍷. Best paired with Pyren Vineyard Little Ra Ra. Cycling is back, and we couldn't be happier here at Tour de Wines. As we all wish for summer heat, firing up the smoker, and adding a little chill on the Little Ra Ra, we can take stock in a season of epic road racing for the 2025 season.
