For 2022, Tour de Wines will be pairing the best wines with some of the best races in professional cycling. Whether it’s a spicy Northern Rhone or a dry Albariño, we will be pairing wines from the Grand Tours to the cobbled Classics. May your wines never peak and your rubber always stay down.

2022 Giro d'Italia: Week 1. Best paired with Cincinnato Pollùce Nero Buono. There is nothing like the first week of the Giro to make us fall in love with Italy all over again. This edition has had it all so far, and requires a wine from Lazio with red cherry and plum flavors.

2022 Liège–Bastogne–Liège. Best paired with Avinyó Petillant. Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl might have salvaged their season with Remco's move on the slopes of La Redoute, and that calls for a prickly Catalan wine with a little natural effervescence.

2022 La Flèche Wallonne. Best paired with Kiralyudvar Furmint Sec 2017. Sometimes even the seemingly most predictable races and wines need a shake up. Enjoy the Mur with a spring-fresh nose and lime florals.

2022 Paris-Roubaix. Best paired with G.D. Vajra Coste di Rose Barolo. It was a weekend of incredible racing. Nothing better than a 100% Nebbiolo bursting with raspberry, red cherry, and dry cobblestones.

2022 Amstel Gold. Best paired with Teliani Valley - Winery 97 Amber Blend. We almost paired this race with a French red, but made a last minute decision at the line. Rich aromas of dried apricot, iodine, and petrol.

2022 Tour de Flanders. Best paired with Lagavulin 16 years. We will forgo wine for this year's Ronde. We raise a glass in honor of Richard Moore of The Cycling Podcast. Read Burns. Drink good scotch. Long live the Buffalo.

2020 Gent-Wevelgem. Best paired with Krasno. What a monumental win for cycling, Eritrea, and Biniam Girmay. Simply incredible. We are pairing this wine with a lovely aromatic orange wine made from Rebula in Brda of Slovenia.

2022 Milan-Sanremo. Best paired with Fontanavecchia Taburno Falanghina del Sannio. A perfect coast. Mohoric winning with a chaotically good descent down the Poggio. After today's race, we need to relax with endless oysters and this bottle of white.

2022 Strade Bianche. Best paired with Caparsa Vin Santo del Chianti Classico. There is no better race or wine to celebrate our unofficial primo giorno di primavera. Pog continues to show his winning form and this wine is sweet, golden perfection.

2022 Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne. Best paired with Romain Chamiot 'Apremont' Blanc. After watching Jakobsen win it in the last 50 meters, there is nothing better than wine made of 100% Jacquere grapes with glowing citrus.

2022 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Best paired with Domaine La Manarine Les Terres Saintes 'Plan de Dieu'. It's a Wout world and we are just living in it. Nothing better than an Opening Weekend with fine tannins and rich, dark fruit.
